Tenant Manual
Welcome. This is the day-to-day manual for clinical, billing, and operations staff at organizations using the MedSuite RCM platform. It is organized around the work you do — billing a claim, taking attendance, posting a remittance — not around the schema underneath it.
How this manual is organized
Page template
Every chapter follows the same shape so you can scan it quickly:
- Outcome — what you'll have done after this procedure.
- Prerequisites — what must already be true and links to predecessor work.
- Diagram — sequence or flow chart, where it helps.
- Steps — UI clicks first, with break-glass tools tucked behind disclosure panels.
- Validation — how to confirm success.
- Troubleshooting — common failures and fixes.
- Next — pointer to the related next chapter.
Audience
- Tenant admins — set up payers, rules, fee schedules, users.
- Billing clerks — work the claims/denials/receivables desk.
- Clinicians and supervisors — take attendance, enter charges, request authorizations.
- Operations analysts — watch dashboards, triage issues, audit PHI access.
If a chapter requires elevated rights, the Prerequisites section calls it out with the exact RBAC scope.
Other manuals
- Platform Admin Manual — for MedSuite staff who provision and operate the platform itself. Most of the time you do not need it; tenant admins manage their own data through this manual.
- EDI Manual — deep reference for X12 transactions (837, 270/271, 278, 835, 277CA, 999) and companion guides.
